Overview of Day of Defeat

Day of Defeat: The goal of the game is to capture all control points on the map, destroy all enemy objects, or combination tasks. By connecting to the game, the participant chooses between two warring sides: the Wehrmacht and the Allies, as well as six classes. Each team has a fixed spawn zone on which players respawn after dying. In the event of a fatal outcome, each player becomes part of the Support , from which he can observe the fight but cannot affect its outcome. The first player killed initiates the reinforcement timer. All other killed players are bound to this timer, and return to the fight simultaneously after it expires.
