Overview of Dawn of War II

Dawn of War II: Developed by Relic Entertainment, the video game Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War has proven to be no less popular than its inspiration, the tabletop wargame Warhammer 40,000 by Games Workshop. The first computer installment was released in 2004, and a sequel followed in 2009. Like the first installment, only one race—the Space Marines—is available for the story campaign. The other races—Orks, Eldar, and Tyranids—can be enjoyed in multiplayer mode. The gameplay has been significantly reworked. While the first installment is a real-time strategy game, the second is a real-time tactics game. It's worth remembering that in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, the tactical component of battles was far more important than in other strategy wargames, but in the sequel, it takes center stage. The point is that the elements of resource gathering and building construction have been excluded from Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2, so now gamers will have to focus their attention exclusively on thinking through military maneuvers that will lead to the main goal - saving the galaxy.
