Overview of SpaceEngine 

SpaceEngine is a scientific earth simulator that simulates billions of galaxies, nebulae, stars, and planets around the world. Earth and neighboring planets could be orbiting a black hole in a galaxy billions of light years away, or something in between.

It’s all about time and space – traveling across the stars millions of times faster, and time accelerating as the orbital movements of a thousand worlds unfold before your eyes. Each planet you encounter on your journey moves through 3D space in full letters. Everything you see in the sky – stars and galaxies, planets and moons, asteroids and comets, black holes and neutron stars, star formations and nebulae – can be seen in different groups.

Newton Physics and Pilot-Assist Autopilot features (in prior development but never used) are available to set the Flight Simulator mode, which allows you to set the flight mode. SpaceEngine is also great for creating mods and add-ons – creating your own planets, star systems, even galaxies, creating your spaceship models, creating GUI skins, and more, all easily shared with others.
